Persuant to player feedback, I was tasked with revamping the character armor sets in Warhammer Online with the goal of increasing visual variety. Part of this challenge was to also integrate new armor varieties into the mix, while still respecting the overall look that the community was already used to. The internal artistic goals for this project were better cohesion in regards to progression, creating distinct silhouettes for each armor set, and respecting intricacy in regards to tier. Resolving these issues meant that I had to coordinate and redistribute literally every single piece of armor, or 25 armor sets total per class. Across all classes, it totalled 550 newly-organized sets.
For your understanding, the Sentinel armor set upgrades to Darkpromise, and the Conquerer armor set upgrades to Invader.
