I am a 3D artist and manager by trade. My main goal in this industry is to create and drive artwork that has the ability to inspire. If I can create or contribute to something that makes someone stop and reflect, or even better, puts a smile on their face, then I know that I've done my job as both a developer and an artist.


Work Experience

Lead Character Artist, September 2008 - Present.
Responsibilities:
  • Management of an in-house, 13-person team (production, technical, and intern artists) [Sept. 2008 - Nov. 2009]
  • Co-management of all character outsourcing work (production artists)
    [Nov. 2009 - Present]
  • Daily concept art critique and guidance alongside Art Director
  • Integration of all character artwork
  • Management, maintenance, and tracking of all character files (45k and counting)
  • Prototyping and testing of new character systems and tools
  • Documenting and teaching of all character pipelines and workflows, both in-house and overseas
  • Assistance with in-house character asset creation

Art Specialist, April 2007 - September 2008.
Responsibilities:
  • Integration of all character artwork
  • Management, maintenance, and tracking of all character files
  • Assisting the Character Lead with management of character duties (asset management, daily critique, prototyping)
  • Occasional creation of low poly character assets

Character Artist, March 2005 - April 2007.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the creation of high and low poly assets for in-game interaction

2002-2004 University of Advancing Technology, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Multimedia with Emphasis on Game Development.
  • Graduated summa cum laude in April 2004, 3.92 GPA.
